LESSONS

lessons have been great.. especially when i can touch econs! come to think of it, i didn’t pay much attention to econs lecture/tutorials during the days in pjc.. and the last econs test i had was 2/15!
i was looking through most of my pae notes yesterday; pjc’s, ajc’s.. and they really brought me back to that pleasuring space. friends.. at times i wonder how they are doing now.. especially during breaks.
this has been the 2nd week of school. i may seemed like i’m still enjoying my honeymoon as what the lecturers claimed on the last week, but seriously, work has been pilling since monday.. right now i probably gotta mug everyday or least finish my daily homework. sounds good to me, since i’m finally doing some constructive stuff..
anyway, i’m so loving tutorials!
tutorials = laptop time!
and usually laptop time refers to…
laptop time = viwawa!
especially, itab lessons.. everyone was literally playing instead of working. msn.. viwawa.. blog.. listening.. for 3hours.
all we did for itab was learning how to navigate through our hotmail and how to use microsoft excel.

Impromptu DBA 02 Outing!

for once, our spontaneous suggested outings took effect.
we went out on monday! right after school!
first lecture and next tutorial, and lastly freed from school! hangout was at cineleisure. movie was the forbidden kingdom! seriously, you gotta catch this movie, ask yourself if you ever see both jet li and jackie chan appearing in the same action movie. tell you ah! the fighting scenes gao gao ah! (thick thick plenty!)
one traveller, one drunk, one orphan, one monk. what can they make out together? wait, that sounds wrong. just go watch!
speaking of the movie, the everyone seems to be crazy about liu yifei (the orphan warrior), screaming all the way during the movie, especially when there was this scene that we were certain she would kiss that ang mo traveler.

i realised the people in my class are fickle-minded who couldn’t make a concrete decison on where to have dinner and we stopped halfway on streets..
we headed back to cineleisure to take neoprint, apparently someone suggested it but i couldn’t remember who.
anyway we had dinner at takashimaya’s yoshinoya which was named by jieheng as takala.
takala is the word of the week! and materialistic is our inner topic now.
p.s this is only half of our wonderful class.

it was themed in owen’s post as “tragic irony” over at his blog. it might seemed as a waste of time to spend a whole night at a place like east coast park, with less than 10 familiar faces around you. well, to me, it was a blessing in disguise lah. like getting free bike rides, knowing more people…
the only tragedy was we missed the last train home just because we went to have dinner at macdonalds.. and that couldn’t help it, since the supposedly “fulfilling” cscc bbq didn’t satisfy our tummy. only achievement was making two new friends.

notes. it was a foc-cum-trip bbq. (for ppl who attending foc and sentosa trip) it really “exposed” us to a lot of new faces. i repeat, weird faces.
remember my post on cscc trip? these were the group mates i had. guy in specs is nicholas, the other is owen and i’m in the center. the two ladies are (from left); peiyi and keping.

…a dedicated post for wanjia! enough of my whines from my previous post. i’m here to blog about this girl next door.
in my eyes, wanjia might have been the most gregarious person i have met. she listens to problems and cheers people up? she is definitely a friend that you wouldn’t wanna miss and certainly be proud of. damn i’m like being too assertive about her.
anyway it was this neighborhood girl’s birthday on saturday, and we as her fanatic friends, gathered to celebrate her birthday on friday evening.
a common hated task for all guys, would definitely be buying gifts for ladies. its proven when four guys were out of their wits when it comes to the case of this. well, eventually, we managed to hook up some presentable delights.

pace in poly life has been proceeding so quickly that i can’t keep up. i haven’t got time for myself to relax for once.
KNN. i can’t seem to breathe.. it’s always revolving around buying books and notes.. for now. :choler:
school of business machiam fashion show, tons of people dressing up as if its prom night. ..i’m really distressed. recently, owen told me that he was shortlisted for scholarship interview, which led me to wonder if i was rejected.. i called up the alumni centre and only to find that those > 8 pointers will only be informed at a later date. owen had the same l1r4 as me.. oh god this worries me, really..
i haven’t been myself for.. a week?
kathlyn was pouring her troubles to me this afternoon, telling me how tortuous it was to play the role as a class rep. i’m still thinking about it.. i asked myself, if i have fulfilled my duties as a chairman. i don’t keep a log of what i was told to do.. neither do i keep track of my classmates, even after 5 days of serving.. all that printing notes and buying books, have discarded my emotions. i’m like a walking zombie without 3rd thoughts. each day of school would only refer to exposing a mournful smile on my plaintive shell..
classmates have been asking me, xianfeng you okay or not? first week so high.. now so quiet. i gave an assuring “i’m okay”. practically, i am okay. i have been feeling this way ever since school started, it felt like i’m missing something.. or i’ve lost something, unknowingly.
this is really scary. humans feared what they don’t understand. 
well.. i think i did improvise my sociology. in sp, i have like, sb bunk mates, camp mates; spsu family, mates; cscc group, friends; pri sch, sec friends. it did resemble me as as a sociallite, but in actual reality, all come nowhere near but hi-bye friends. what’s hi-bye friends? theoretically, words that sprouted from one, are insincere, well at least to most people. conversation between hi-bye friends can me as long as a sentence, or merely.. “hi!” ..”bye!“.
it does get you frustrated at times, when you really have a breathe of concern for the other, and the other probably has nothing in return..and guess the conversation just drop dead. i think i need to revise on my social skills.
despite all that, i’m really relieved and pending to see my new lively classmates who occasionally trigger my alter ego; spastic. :-[)
