Taiwan’s Earthquake results in slow internet service in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Despite the distance, Tuesday night’s earthquake in Taiwan made its presence felt in Singapore.
Internet providers StarHub and SingTel say the earthquake caused disruptions to the undersea cables, resulting in slow internet access to some sites.
Both companies say internet traffic diversion and restoration works are currently underway.
SingTel adds that its undersea cable system with Europe was not affected. - CNA/so

Back from Chalet and Merry Xmas!

Edited: I’ll put this christmas card above my chalet post.
Christmas Wishes: Hope to get better results next year, Hugs from my family, loved ones, Manage my time better for playing and studying, Finish my holiday homework before school reopen.
Phew finally back from my chalet. It was really fun for the first few days.
Day 1
I met up with Alvin, Choontat, jason, Xian Zheng, Edwin at Chua Chu Kang train station and left for Pasir Ris. We were supposed to meet up with the chalet’s organisers, Huikoon .etc at 1.45pm, but they left early. Fortunately, when we reached there, we made it in time to catch the shuttle bus to aloha loyang. Haha to everyone’s surprise, Huikoon and gang were already in the bus, luckily the bus wasn’t as packed as Huikoon predicted.
Waited for Miss Lum to help us check in when we reached the office. Didn’t expect our chalet was Kingfisher again. (same as last year’s)

The first night was definitely the craziest.
Here we have me and alvin pillow fighting.
The story goes like this, Alvin left the bed, wanting to go outside, but Yuenteng discovered the spot he was sitting was burning hot. The result he wanted to whack me just because I laughed loudest at him.
2nd Video: Choontat was targeted and our boys pin him down. He was caught off guard. xD
If you noticed, I’m the green-blue flowery guy who contribute in Choontat’s “paopok” *winks. :cool:Timothy is the unlucky one to be left behind.
Can’t remember who was our target but this is much chaotic as the others.
The KING, Ming Shu was next.
Ahh, so fierce, luckily I ran the fastest! Benedict fell while running. 
Next victim was me.
OMG. Everyone wished me dead huh? xD
Last one was Jiahao.
Uh, looked carefully, Benedict seemed to be trying to pull Jiahao’s shorts. WTF.
PS: He was purely smacking his butt.
That’s the first night. 
My conclusion,
Evonne was the loudest laugher and the sneakiest camera lady. Benedict was the clumsiest and the most pervertic.

Day 2
Here comes the scariest part.
The 2nd day was a real plain boring one. Everybody was like sleeping late and waking up late, all because they stayed up the whole night playing Ps2, Bleach: Bladebattlers. I don’t know why they are so enthusiastic in that game. Bought that game few weeks ago, decided to stop playing it when I unlocked all the characters just for my classmates to enjoy during the chalet.
Accompanied Evonne and Yuenteng to Changi airport in the morning to send her friend off. I’ll skip this part coz I’m very angry at Yuenteng for waking up late and making us walk our way to find food in airport! Food there is darn expensive.
My $6.50 Marrybrown Fish Burger Meal.
That night after we had our BBQ, most of us were still hungry and we went out for supper. (That happens when some greedy people ate up the food immediately when it was cooked.)
After supper, I suggested to go check the “Red House” out. In case most of you are wondering what place is that, please go to SPI’s site for more info. Link.
In the end everyone was pressured by me and Sarah to walk to the “Red House”. When we reached the main gate, most of us were freaked out, I suggested to turn and walk back to chalet. The place looks really creepy at night, especially the house looked really red at night. I supposed it’s best not to go near the two “lions” which is guarding the house.

Day 3
Actually its more of a last day since most of the people are leaving on that night.
I went out to check if Escape was opening bussiness since it was raining the night before.
Took a photo of myself on my way there.
Syafiq was ordering the 241 pizza for our breakfirst-lunch while I went to check out Escape and here’s the funny conversation.

Operator: Ya

Timothy left, Michael arrived at the chalet and we went to Escape right after that! Whaha $6, it’s so damn cheap. Our first stop was the haunted house! We went in 5 by 5, my team consists of Syafiq (our captian), Jiahao(vice captain), Alvin (3rd seat), Evonne(VIP, coz she’s the only girl in our Escape trip), and me.(I had to watch her back coz she insisted.)
I don’t find the haunted house scary, don’t know why the rest made a fuzz outta it. =X Haha btw, Evonne was like so friggin freaked out, she kept pulling Alvin’s tee shirt, almost tore it LOL. The rainbow ride was awesome!

We went straight to swimming after that. That night when most of us were packing their stuff to leave, I had to rush to lavender to meet my parents. On my way I met Jason and Pearly. What a coincidence! Singapore so small huh?
Took some photos before I leave for my stop.
Thanked goodness, I returned back to chalet from lavender safe and sound. Sad, only 6 people including me left at the chalet. That night was really hollow, 2 outta 4 rooms were empty..
I came to find out that Choontat actually assembled our after-game prize from Escape.
Cute huh?
The next morning, we cleaned up the chalet till the check out time(10am), as usual Alvin paid for the extra electrical bills.

You actually allowed someone to lie big time in an interview n actually placed them as her main profile video at the PSS2 website where everyone is viewing, feeded wrong information about me, at my expense……I was shocked when I hear her talk….
I m very very unpleased n very angry about what happen… I have been the underdogs for so so long…. For Singapore Idol the second round auditions, top fun, i was always given the green light by the production team to strip to my swimming trunks. Not without permission..I was laughed at on the street, jeered by people as you chose to place me in a negative light….. with tv phrases like… “Repeat after me….Wannabe..”, or “Ji Pu Sai aka like a pile of shit” how big can i be? Well…I m game……But if I will you, you could actually put me in a better light by saying, “wow, very encouraging spirits by this chap etc.”..” Entertaining fellow”..If not, how do u expect aspiring young men like me to get encouraged? I have “died” in Singapore by your hands but i never regret it….My greatest regret is I was seriously wasted in “Never Say Die” Thinking of it, my heart still feel the pain…..
But this time round, I was being put in a situation not controlled by me involving in her big time lie. Wat was her intention actually???!!!!

My Malaysia Trip.

The reason I stated the title as “Malaysia Trip”, its because I traveled quite a no. of places the past few days. It’s been a tedious trip for me since I have body aches, sunburns PLUS jelly-like legs. (after going sentosa) Had a great trip to sentosa that day before I leave for Malaysia at night. It wasn’t really great since we had to walk all the way to siloso beach under the darn hot sun. Everyone was wearing pink except me, Alvin and Jun an! Nobody inform me to wear pink man! Played volleyball and pool among ourselves and we swam in the satly water for ages. Drank a lot of the free salty water. COOL yea.had three leg cramps, lucky my pals were there to safeguard me. Darn me for not taking any photos of us on sentosa except this ending photo.

Headed for gombak for tuition with Sarah, along with Jun An, Benedict, Cheryl, Stella and Cynthia. After tuition, mum called for me to return home for last minute packing.

Traveled to boonlay by cab that night whee the travel agency is located. The place was packed with foreign workers. So complicated. Okay I’ll just skipped the trip on bus.
Reached Kuala Kangsar’s bus station in the morning. Aunt’s husband drove us back to his home where my beautiful to-be married cousin is! This wedding trip made me know more of my relatives. (didn’t really know who were my cousins.. etc initially) Yep, didn’t know I had a lot of good-looking cousins.
Ah the wedding night. The wedding was held in a old shagged house， it still looked nice and cosy!

After the wedding dinner, we went to book a hotel. Next morning we got up a bus and traveled to genting. Didn’t really enjoy myself, since I only got to play 2 games! The huanted house; indoor rollercoaster ride. Didn’t manage to book a room at first world hotel coz’ it was full! Darn..
Next time don’t go genting during holidays, you’ll regret it.
So, we gotta rush to KL to get tickets for our bus trip back to singapore.

Edited 12/12: Went swimming with Alvin and Choontat. Sad Edwin and friends decided not to accompany us. Went for haircut with Choontat. Result: Wasn’t happy with my new hairstyle, Choontat was delighted after me giving him good comments for his hair. THE END. Gotta go work tomorrow.
For those who are wondering where my tagboard is, the answer is I actually remove it from screen due to a hell lot of unknown spammers advertising on my site.
To the spammers: Please F*** Off and go spam other ppl’s blog except mine. Get a life la c’mon.
