Symptoms of the new MSN Virus and Warcraft 3 1.21 patch!

This is a possible solution reply to the previous post.

Symptoms

* An icon called “install” appears on your desktop (and I think tries to run itself, but this should be stopped by Antivirus software)
* Windows firewall is turned off
* System Restore is turned off (although this may have already been turned off on your PC)
* (In windows) Start>Run> “services.msc” opens the services window, which then closes itself
* (In Windows) Start>Run> “msconfig” has the same problem.
* Your homepage may have changed
* Web directs have been employed so that you cannot access certain websites e.g. mcafee.com, symantec.com
* Icons on your desktop may change

Things you should already have:

* Antivirus Software
* Antispyware Software
* A Firewall

First things first:

1. Close your messenging software.
2. Update your antivirus and spyware software
3. Run a virus and spyware scan
4. If you find any malicious software, heal it, fix it, quarantine it, vault it, etc,Ã¢â‚¬Â¦. whatever your software can do to help.
5. Now, restart your computerÃ¢â‚¬Â¦.
6. Run another virus and spyware scans.

Firewall - The built in windows xp firewall is good enough.

Most importanly don’t visit unfamiliar websites.

Warcraft 3 1.21 upgrade for 1.20e cracked users.

My 5 brief steps on upgrading.

1. Before downloading patch, make sure you have the original war3.exe (The one you have when you upgraded to 1.20e)

2. Copy the original one which you have backup’ed to your warcraft directory (C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\)

3. Now you can’t start your warcraft without cd right? Okay download the 1.21 patch. (1.20e > 1.21) Click here to download patch.

4. After downloading, double click on the file and patch. Once it’s success, save your war3.exe (This is the original upgraded 1.21 war3.exe)

5. If you have backup your war3.exe, you are free to download the 1.21 No CD Crack.

* Original war3.exe
* 1.21 Patch
* 1.21 No CD Crack

Whoa free. MSN Virus Alert!

Yep, I’m finally free of homework! Managed complete all the english homework I owed Mrs Kang and I’m done with my maths homework. Whee.

I’m not satisfied with my chinese test. 57/100? I could have done better..IF only I didn’t doze off halfway through the test.

Valentine’s Day is coming, what should I get? Hmm..

Seems like there’s a trend in carrying boys to the girls toilet And I’m one of the victims. Firstly it was Benedict in the morning whom Alvin, Choontat and I carried to the girls toilet. However, it was ME after lunch. They actually carry and throw me into the girls toilet for like..4 times? Worse, Sarah actually took a video of it, I guess its being distributed now.

PS: Video of me being carried and locked inside the staff toilet. ROLF.

Important! I just noticed quite a couple of my MSN contacts, actually “talk” to me.

My friend sent me this file(latter i found out it wasn’t really them) it said, this better not be you, or something. then had a link to some page about candle beans and the members.php file that led to a file ending in my email. I stupidly downloaded it and bam! I cant open registry edit, it removed system restore, changed home pages and who knows what else. Can someone PLEASE help me with this?

Please be caution, don’t click those unfamiliar links. If you friend “talked” to you, they’re probably infected. Confirm with your friends if they did chat with you. Better be safe than sorry.

NYP Joy, Orchard Adventure.

Tsk Tsk, I’m late in blogging again. (3 pages in total, click on the # of the page above)

Went to NYP’s openhouse yesterday, it was friggin fun. We had like 15 people(including me) with us.. First time ever going out with that much people. (record was 13 people)

NYP is a lot different compared to Ngee Ann and Temasek in terms of the design of the buildings and the facilities, mostly importantly the food over there is damn cheap. ($2-3 with a lot of ingredients)

Our usual hang’ers, Alvin, Choontat, Edwin, Jia Hao, Jun An, Huikoon, Wei Cheng. Plus, our new members, Chee Yang, Gary, Huijie, Wan Jia, Wan Zhen. One of the graduates, Aileen, joined us for the openhouse too. Strange, everyone was wearing formal except Alvin.

To Alvin: Don’t feel awkward, you looked cool, ya know. At least Wan Zhen wore skirt instead of jeans.

Straight after we reached Yio Chu Kang station, we walked our way to NYP. It feels so good to have so many people walking with me. We arrived at the Atrium and got our goodies bag. There was a dancing performance with cool dudes and hot babes.

LOL. I just realised Edwin was busy taking videos of those dancers and even asked Weicheng to help him shoot. We went over to Food Junction for lunch. While looking for seats, I saw Kelvin and his friend there, they were both 3rd year students in BIT.

*Wah, so cool la, NYP had Food Junction and Macdonalds.
