The Role of a Slacker without a Conscience

i attended track’s training today for an attempt to represent poly 50. (poly 50 is a inter poly marathon)
latter part of the trial, i realised i couldn’t run, let alone last for 7 sprints of 200m. i just couldn’t maintain my timing. (my assumption of me getting fat was proving to be true after all)
as i was running, i caught several middle fingers pointing at me from my fellow dragon boat mates. it seemed like a breach of trust, a symbol of betrayal. some even smacked me on my back and threw some stinking “f” word.
i was glad but i don’t know why. i thought it was cool to be the center of attention even for that 5 minutes.
soon after i got done with the time trial, i proceeded to finish up my supposedly-training-of-the-day which was sets of pull ups. i see we were given the discipline to do our training programme today and so evil told me to complete one third of the sets. again , i received “harsh comments” from my mates.
to make things clear, i barely got myself in training for neither track nor db. flabby arms and broaching tummy probably gonna visit me soon.
tomorrow is just the day to hit me (school starts at 8am) and i’m already intending to be late. 
oh did i mention? you might just spot me with a paddle at foodcourt 6. cheers.

it’s has been a while since i last woke up at 6am. before school starts, 10am wasn’t even my waking time.
i was dragging my feet down to jurong east to meet my teammates, literally. beats me, i noticed A LOT of ah peks and ah mas traveling down paris ris line at that time.
anyway, this was my first time witness such a dragonboating event and i must say i was pretty nervous. :sweat:
we did progressively well compared to our very first rowing experience. however, we came in last in our first race. generally we got 7th in position. (i think)
it did sound a little depressing as i thought we could have done better. maybe we weren’t ready to race yet..

after the race, jun an and weicheng beeped me for lunch at orchard. i’m felt honored to show them my paddle, afterall i made it to the team! (for now)
shared some db-canoe training tips while dinning at ajisen at lot 1 and went home abruptly.
i still got to mug for tomorrow’s test.

1) i received my paddle and life vest after training today.
2) i walked like some big shot in bugis in the evening.
3) i have 6 pain relievers on my body now. my proof of pain-hood.
lol this is so random. shall blog again after my race tomorrow!

What I have been doing

for those who are still reading my blog, had probably noticed that i have been away from blogging. (except microblogging via twitter)
i have been hooking on training these days that led me detest studying so much now. since yesterday, i have been telling people that i got selected to row for dragonboat masters series this coming sunday at bedok reservoir. it’s gonna be a joke, we didn’t have a decent selection to even begin with.
for 3 days, i think i have been following my scheme blindly.
the pile homework that is laid neatly in front of me, seemed to be begging me to bless them with my holy ink now.
i couldn’t sleep well these coming nights despite how my aching body begs me to and i beginning to feel frustrated at myself for not being productive in tutorials which i’m supposed to. (after all that’s why i paid school fees for)
something has been telling me that i came school for one cause; cca.
i’m pissed at the over raging homework and tests. i don’t know why i deserve this, we have like 3 tests next week and 1 more after next. we had only 2 weeks to chill after mst and you know what; i only left 3 days to mug. fuck.
theoretically, it’s 3 days, before subtracting my competition day and training day. fuck once more. (i’m ought to be credited for vulgarities)
again, owen talked about the sp scholarship programme which indefinably reminded me about my current grades. i scored 2Bs, 1C and 1A (my itab module which is insignificant). maybe i shouldn’t aim for the scholarship anymore.. with my fucked up grades, i think i need to put up a struggle..
..BUT i’m still gian at their privileges leh! jialat man, i’m like dumbfounded now.
history gonna repeat itself tomorrow; homework not done, super restless, moodless.
i really hope everything will fall in place, soon. :neo:

My first entrance in a Girls’ School.

methodist girl’s school’s dance concert on saturday, was an eyeopener. i’m not a man of artistic flair which explains why i go whoa when witnessing mgs’s concert.
they displayed 14 different sets of dance including dancers from nus! it was such a big thing lah. while i was venturing around in the campus, i felt it was an entirely different culture, very different from my secondary school.
the last arty farty concert i attended was probably, an inspector calls by sp’s school of cass.
anyway besides serving us with performance, this concert actually acts as a gathering for us; pjc pae og04!
at first, i was told to meet up outside bukit timah plaza’s pizza hut, but i let those three lovely sisters wait for me instead!
