Set your eyes on this : Singapore Slingers

Thursday, October 18th, 2007 | 11:20 pm

Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to Precious and Nicholas for inviting me to the indoor stadium for the National Basketball League game with our home team, Singapore Slingers against the Melbourne Tigers last night.

Upon reaching the stadium, I could see the field that was refurbished into a basketball court like those in NBA and the Slingers were already doing some warmups.

Thanks to the sponsors. we bloggers, were entitled to seats in the $25000 worth corporate box which makes it possible for us to watch the intense action up upclose. Heh.

Slinger Girls
in action.

This is a lifetime experience to enjoy such privileges. It was very enjoyable despite the fact that I wasn’t eying specifically for players to give my support.

It was kinda chaotic, sometimes I wish my eyes were as though lens of SLR cameras to catch up with these high-speed movements.

My 1st Ice Skating Trip!

Monday, October 8th, 2007 | 8:02 am

our long awaiting, graduation day, has finally arrived! (friday)

i was about to cry when they flashed back the sec 1 times on screen, but, somehow the atmosphere didn’t feel right.. the entire graduation thing was just too formal!

it was decided among ourselves that we should wear our tie/name tags for the ceremony since we are the last batch using it, BUT, the teachers claimed that the tie was no longer part of the school uniform, and forbids us from wearing it.

we were so disappointed lah! :(

the ceremony was boring by itself, what caught our attention was the encouragement from teachers that was shown on screen!

I just realised not many people recognise the word, “graduands” that was engraved on our memento keychains.

this was played relentlessly on each graduating year’s ceremony.
Vitamin C - Gradutaion

collecting result slips were thrilling for all of us! as predicted, i have improved! i’m now 45th out of 188 sec 4s. :D

when school ended, a large group of us went ice-skating at fuji ice palace. this is a new breaking record in all my outings which we hit more than 20+ ppl!

with my newbie roller blading skills, i found myself totally unable to skate a single bit on the icy platform. with much luck, i was able to skate short after..without falling for more than 10 times! i felt kinda inferior compared to peiqi who really can skate very well. urgh, i shall master ice skate asap after o!

as mentioned by ashilah, she is multi talented. :spd:

Trip to JJC and more!

Thursday, October 4th, 2007 | 11:21 pm

Jurong Junior College seemed to be quite an conservative school with lots of modern facilities. a bit contradicting, but its just difficult to describe in words. the lecturers were really helpful and friendly, subjects were really challenging which led me to wonder if these were real. its like a secondary school system with a different approach.

their cafe seems to be half the size of our school’s. exclusive shops selling clothes, cookies as well as ice creams/drinks were also available. the students seemed to be enjoying their lives there lah! there’s also two computer gaming corner offering $2/h and $2.50/h respectively. *grins time for LAN.!

bah.. i’m have thoughts of entering JJC along delwin.. no.. not with that guy! (just kidding)

thats was all about monday.

something amusing happened today, and i should say i’m pretty proud of it.

a bunch of punks hanging in macdonalds accused me of diao’ing two from their group.

turned out to be, these losers ran while covering their asses after my threats.

ironically, these losers failed to make my day, instead got frightened.

say this to a bully.

stop throwing your weight around as if you own this place!

but if he really do………

….pack up and prepare for a long long run…

P.S i don’t really like to type in twit language.

tomorrow is GRADUATION DAY! = OUT OF UNITY! :D
