Update 2, More Shopping..

yea thats right, i guess i’m all mad about shopping now. i been hanging with eleana ever since the first fashion consult..and now its like she’s my shopping partner. today was exception, alvin came along since he was free from work.
we met up at citilink, our first priority was to collect my work uniform as well as learn some fundamental stuff from alvin. damn i felt so honored that they actually agreed to accompany since today was a weekday and eleana was already complaining about the few hours of sleep she received these days. anyway, the trip down my new workplace was promising, make new friendly ties with the existing staff.
leaving the workplace, we headed to bugis by bus to shop for my last prom item. it was like an adrenaline rush, since we were rushing for time to be able to meet up with kelvin in the evening. while shopping, we stopped frequently to grab a little bite. afternoon seemed to fly real quickly, our nice conversation at macdonalds ended as soon as it was near time to leave. we spent our remaining timespan on arcade, since the neighbouring lan shop was packed.
within half an hour, our tokens were nearly used up. it was then up to me to give our arcade trip a conclusion since eleana and alvin had to travel to orchard to meet up with kelvin. i was all there lonely.. finished the tokens at 8.. walking slowly to my soka’s monthly night class..

recently my fingers are tied to my lovely ps2 and didn’t have the tendency to blog. i realised i have to be responsible and finish up this late post.

at noon, i met up with mum at her workplace to have lunch with her as well as shop for some accessories. this is probably the first time i got a chance to dine with her during her lunch break. with only a hour or so to spare, we didnt shop much and she had to return back to work shortly after. it was near time to meet up with choontat since we both were invited to singapore polytechnic - digital media & communication’s miniature openhouse.
speaking of sp’s campus, i was intrigued by its huge size and complex structure. we spent like half an hour walking to our destination which includes climbing up stairs that leads all the way above ground level. we nearly fainted when we realised we were walking in circle and that we had initially passed by dmc’s floor without noticing. without further ado, we proceeded into the lecture room with much caution.
upon entering, we realised were the only participating males there. (based on our time slot) it was so exciting that we cannot help looking around at their facilities. we then proceeded to the dmc’s studio where photography and filming were usually held.
choontat and me were given chance to operate the filming cameras, and we learn many things such as the terms used in filming industry! it wasn’t as complicated as first sight. we slowly mastered the basic filming techniques like close up and medium close up .etc as we were on duty, we had to receive orders from the directors. (two girls that we saw earlier in the room) the experience was priceless! it was as thought everyone was in their forms of professionalism. it was then our turn to swap positions with the girls, and this is where all the fun starts!

Adrenaline Rush

..as mentioned, my day was totally filled with hot boiling rush. :spd:
at noon, i met up with eleana and gabriel at orchard who accompanied me for my shopping spree. they are both my certified fashion consultants. we strolled in the vicinity for 4-5 hours.. but nothing exclusive caught our eye. we paid alvin’s ex-workplace a visit for job hunting.. alvin’s boss was really nice to me lah! she waited for me for interview after returning from lunch break and made a few phone calls just to confirm my arrival. alvin even called to rush my arrival. as usual, with alvin’s presence, we were able to acquire a few delights. i saw shi wei who walked up to scare me while i was messaging.
it was time to meet up with alvin lee, and we departed from orchard respectively. i headed to bishan with an emotional rush, thinking that i might be late and how alvin would probably curse the hell outta me.. BUT it was him who was late this time. (i can manage my time well okay) dropping the position arrival topic, we proceeded to bishan stadium to catch a soccer match between my soka team and celebrity team which consisted of some artistes, gurmit singh, tang yu shu, chen li ping, randall tan, chen rong ming, zheng ge ping, steven tan, chen shi wei .etc
there were so many people with only a few familiar faces, one of it was si min. felicia chin even came to give her support! the match ended 2-0, the celebrity team was victorious. the match was as enjoyable as any other live soccer matches, except that i would prefer to be a tv audience and there would be replays of every goal scored. i couldn’t remember clearly all the goal stances. the first goal was made by tang yu shu (probably lucky due to his just married wife), while the second was made by steven tan (i think).

we left shortly after the match ended with much disappointment of not being able to take photos with the celebs.. only a few lucky ones were selected to interact with their desired celebs. our disappointment were worsen by our hunger, thus we decided to travel to lot 1 to have our dinner as well as pay andrea a visit.
have you encountered those dropouts/hooligans who claimed to be selling pens for “charity“? they are usually positioned around train stations. today was my fifth or sixth encounter with such people. i gotta admit, today’s was the BEST i’ve ever seen. his scamming tactics were impressive and his oral skills were undeniably powerful. initially, he stuffed two pens, each into our hands and claimed that it was a no obligation offer and that the pens were free. i would say he’s probably the most persuasive guy i’ve ever met. with much persuading effort, i still hold on ground and insisted that i would not help in their fund raising.

Bees are really something.

Ever wonder what bees have that really impact our environment? Well, the latest Bee Movie tells it all.
A short trailer is always handy. 
This movie is more like a controversy than comedy. Whilst you’re catching this movie, you will probably be amused by the wonders of the bee’s world and what exactly are their capabilities. One part was where the bees had public transports, cars, buses. Very intriguing. Can’t they just fly around with their razor wing?
In mother nature, everything is well-shared among humans and animals. Whoever failed do their part, it affects greatly on the environment.
Speaking of bees, perhaps its time for me to grab some honey to please my mouth!
My day was filled with laughter and sweetness thanks to shixiao!
P.S Is it just me or is it everyone seems bloody dead busy? I can’t reach anyone… holidays.. :ho:
