yup, its my fourth working day and godiva and i’m assigned to attend the shop alone since yani and i are on different shifts. oh well. i gotta admit, i was a little nervous and afraid that i might screw up everything, but miraculously, i did everything steps of closing right!
despite my concluding success, i made two seriously mistakes today. i think i’m been fooling around too much, gotta work hard and not disappoint linda and yani’s teachings!
i’m blogging with my new comp now. everything runs so smoothly!

Comp Building Day!
whee. its finally time to switch to a better computer. my current lovely computer deserves a good rest in the storeroom after servicing for nearly 4 years.
yup. well it was more of a makeover for my computer since i replaced all parts except my dear sony dvd writer.

i met up with my peeps in the evening. its been a while since i met jiahao and alvin. heard that they have been suffering under their hotel job as a waiter. tough luck. we were seated at cineleisure for dinner and conversation before we headed to e2max for counterstrike.
yup. games are what that ties our friendship together and i crave for more precious time with my buddies in the future!
tomorrow will be a better day, and i will end it with a nice full stop.
Dental, Ngee Ann’s Zoukout what else?

yep, yesterday was my dental appointment! 2 years after my last..it was still as terrifying as the previous visit! apparently, all the dentists that attended to me, were mostly females, today was no exception.
traveled to health promotion board, with peiqi along the way and alighted at outram park. took a 5 minutes walk there and waited for another 5 minutes for my no. and it was all over in 5mins again. yup 15 minutes wasted just for a stupid checkup.
anyway, i was ordered to switch to a softer tooth brush and to keep my mouth as little wide as possible when yawning.
its believe that, it tend to demolish the joint in the jaw when open mouth too widely. yup, i guess i will stop yawning like a lion whenever i get sleepy.
feeling bored, i beeped kelvin to meet up, its been about 4-5 months since i last saw him! yup, he’s having a much more slimmer figure than before. it seems like he’s enjoying his life in ns which makes me looking forward to ns even more! and so, we met up at sim lim square to do a little hardware shopping. the trip was really fruitful! kelvin imparted new knowledge as well as reliable hardware shopping areas.
after a moment of strolling, we found ourselves hungry and decided to head for the wanton mee shop at sunshine plaza.. as expected, the dumplings are tasty. *drooling* with the sumptuous meal, we walked to cityhall and carried on our hardware discussion. upon reaching, we headed towards the adelphi for a change of kel’s amplifier charger.
it was soon, for me to meet up with weicheng and the rest, and we headed separately from cityhall.
as usual, some of the people were late and so we rushed to ngee ann poly for its red camp’s zoukout event. it was kinda frustrating when we were told that, underaged kids were not allow, (weiyao was the only 12 around) and that each red camper is entitled to bring in one visitors, which is totally different from what we previously heard. initially, there were a little conflict between us and the entrance keepers and it’s only till sarah came and clarified with them and we were admitted into the convention hall.
goodness, we were allow to enter on the contrary that we must be responsible for weiyao. upon entering, the atmosphere was pretty tense. everyone seemed to be so lively and jumpy like they were on drugs. there were lots of screaming around us. people taking photos. argh. we felt so.. unfitted into the event since we are like joining the red camp’s last event.
the screaming went to another level when singapore idol, paul twohill came in and performed. we left shortly, since most of us were feeling bored.

There was something that I got pissed during the party. Since ZoukOut was a PARTY, is it wrong to carry someone on our shoulders and we have fun? A party is for all of us to have fun and enjoy ourselves. However there was this cocky Dragonboat guy(I think he is cocky), came to us and said “NO KIDS PLAY”. I was feeling really paranoid during that moment because ZoukOut was a party and we came to have fun. Is carrying someone on our shoulders a Kids Play? I seriously don’t think so. Whatever he said gave me an impression of daddies carrying their kids over their shoulders in family carnivals and whatever they are doing is CHILDISH since it is KIDS PLAY? We’re not harming anyone and we know the risk. Usually a party out there is more havoc, chaotic and dangerous than whatever we did there. Are they still treating us as kids coming to a children’s party? Hello? We’re a bunch of 16 years old and we know our limits. Whatever that dragonboat guy said seriously pissed me off and made me suspect what a party is all about. His words ruined my party mood there. -.-
..and yep, they were the police of the night.
okay sidetracked, after we left, we headed to bukit timah food centre on food to have our meal. we were all starving lah.. rushing for that stupid np’s event. anyway the food was really awesome, shall try out the satay there next time. it was till early and we were very unwilling to return home without having some fun, and yea we went straight to bukit timah shopping centre’s i.r.c to play counterstrike! though it was a little unwise to be spending money instead of playing at home for free, we had plenty of fun! hehe. as usual, my frags tend to stand out among the rest. gaming together reminds me of the past when all of us used to game together online while conferencing.. just that alvin and jiahao were not able to join us..
happy times seem to always pass so quickly, it was soon near 12, and we decided to give ourselves a break and continue gaming at a later date. fortunately i was able to got into my bus and board the last train home. i’m so happy that my boys ate my chocolates!

1st day at work!

yup.. it was my first day at work at godiva!
but.. i was late. yea late, even for my first day. arrived at millenia walk at 4.20pm when i was supposed to be there 20 minutes earlier. oh well, i was lucky that the senior staff didn’t give negative comment on me.
upon reporting to godiva, i headed to the toilet to change into my job attire.
i did seem a little vain, but i was really excited about it! :ciao:

i returned to shop shortly after changing, and yani began to teach the fundamental functions of the company..and yea, learned quite a lot like cashing in.. settling purchases .etc ..and recognising and sorting out the chocolates. it did seem pretty at first and experience all that work today made me change my perspective.
moments later, ishak arrived to help attend the shop as well as to guide me to deal with customers. yea, i attended to two customers and settled both credit and cash purchases.
yay. everything seemed to go well. ishak and yani were really two friendly souls! not only they guided me as much as possible and they even entertained me as well! well, entertainment in the sense they were like comedians and i really went to the extent of rolling on floor laughing at their conversation!
part of the amusement, was when we were recording the amount of chocolates in each respective box and ishak suddenly yelled that he lost his piece of records!

Loading ...i was late for prom as usual. i was rushing from a long afternoon nap. (life seems to be rushing nowadays) :creve:
i really gotta thank alvin for waiting patiently for me. he looked awesome at first sight, like some private investigator.
anyway, prom was really enjoyable though i didn’t manage taste all the sumptuous dishes. the atmosphere was as thought as my previous night’s dream, everyone were in their top condition, looking gorgeous, the ladies especially. the guys on the other hand were looking smart as expected, since we had no theme; formal, creativity was really limited.
the most anticipated part was lucky draw. instead of carrying high hopes for every single draw, everyone was like praying not to get selected, since the people were placing high hopes in the night’s grand prize; psp.
be amazed, this is what mdm asmidah mentioned a few days back when i was questioning her. :[
me: cher, is the your psp(grand prize), fat fat one?!
her: you think me; i will buy fat fat one meh? of course it’s slim one lah.
her:..plus modified one(firmware)..
me and gang: WAA……… *drooling..
and none of us won, but ashilah! …so envious of her!
and so, dinner came to the selection of the title of prom king and queen.

it was a awesome sight to see both of them kiss each other on the cheek! :kiss:
