Chalet 2007!

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007 | 11:16 pm

..yup, its like a flashback of chalet 2006. depressingly, i find this year’s chalet inferior the last year’s, probably because there aren’t as many people involved this year. looking back at last year’s post brings back joyous memories.

shall continue later.

Appeal to JJC and Republic Polytechnic Openhouse!

Sunday, December 16th, 2007 | 11:35 pm

i guess i should write a little about this late post.

i have been so upset ever since i missed the pae deadline. appealed to jjc and i still haven’t receive any reply. :(

anyway. on the following day, after my trip to jjc, me and my usual peeps traveled to republic poly.

null
the campus looked very much like lasalle; brand new.

i was told that there was some sort of openhouse, though it didn’t seem like one upon my arrival.

hmm, as far as i can remember, i have visited ngee ann and tamasek poly, but not republic and singapore poly. i’m craving for another openhouse visit!

on the contrary, visit to republic poly wasn’t as thrilling as the last two polys i visited, but i gotta admit, in terms of goodies giving, rp is ranked top of all. (1GB THUMBDRIVE, HP POUCH .ETC AND MORE!!!!)

moreover, majority of the warm up games, lies mainly in team bonding such as pitching tents, solving puzzles.

one of the games we played, was tennis on wii!

null

in the end, i didn’t learn anything about rp’s courses. :ho:

Everything seems to….

Sunday, December 16th, 2007 | 8:16 pm

be going smoothly lately! yea i’m very much happy about it. firstly, i finally sold my rams and my graphic card after a stumbling between my old and new computer.

it was depressing to know that my one year old companions are no longer in my possession, but i’m glad they are in good hands and put to good use.

i sold my 2 x kingston 512mb ddr pc3200 cl3 184-pin to peter chua from HWZ on saturday @ $65 and leadtek winfast a7600gs-tdh 256mb gddr2 to alex; silverfox from HWZ too on sunday @ $93.

.
.
.
….which means i’m 65 + 93 = $158 richer now! ; well, at least. my old computer is in its raped status, awaiting people to shower its love to it, anyone wants to be the party?

besides that, my sales rate in godiva has been increasing! as expected of xmas session where people will pump in money for chocolate gifts.

on the contrary, i recalled a few days back, when i have this interested conversation with my colleague, ishak.

we were getting bored at marina square; godiva since there weren’t much customers.

he filled me up with questions that i had never been asked.

his first question was, “imagine you are in a jungle/forest, how would it looked?”

second question was, “you see a pathway, describe the pathway.”

third question was, “upon walking on the pathway, you see a mansion, describe the mansion.”

fourth question was, “when you enter the mansion, you see a horse, describe the horse you see.”

fifth question was, “you left with the horse and came to a stream of river, describe the river.”

..and thats about it. i gave my answer and the replies from ishak.. totally outwitted me. :yo:

guys if you find it interesting, post your thoughts below and i shall reveal the quotes i got from ishak.

sidetrack a little.

last thurs was my dad’s birthday! treated dinner on the following evening and on saturday, sis and bro in law treated us lunch at cherry garden along with nephew and family in law.

photos shall be posted once i received them. :)

..and yea i was late for work since i gotta meet up with peter after celebration. i worked relentlessly to make up my mistakes, and surprisingly, during my shift, a customer order our exquisite hamper of $990! our very first order of that hamper! sales was incredibly high on sat which we earn a total net sales of 2k+!

yesterday was rather interesting, after i attended my soka event at telok blangah, i headed straight down to takashimaya to collect goods for our bulk order of hampers. while waiting for sam to prepare the goods, i helped to serve the customers. this is when i realised the business peak at takashimaya is super duper high! its like every single min there will be 1-2 customers queuing up to do their purchase.. it was really an eyeopener.

upon receiving the goods, i headed back to millenia walk to help yani finish up the hampers. soon, yani left and i was left alone again. sales was decent and boring as usual. its rare to see a row of 2 customers browsing my shop on sundays..

shall post and emphasize more on my soka event once i received photos!

goodies!

2 days off from work!

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007 | 11:45 pm

YUP! i’m finally free after a long tiresome period of work.

a day before my short “holidays”, i was scheduled to work and attend godiva shop alone; though i nearly couldn’t handle the sudden phone bulk orders .etc, miraculously, i solo-ed a total of $2.7k+ net sales! heh. i’m so proud of myself.

whee. i’m aiding yani to reach her sales target for the month of dec soon ! :-)

yesterday was not constructive at all. i was intending to sleep for 10n hours or so when weicheng suddenly called me in the morning to wake me up for work. told him it was my day off and continued my dazzling sleep. couldn’t fall asleep and stumbled on bed for an hour. just like the old times during holidays, i would glue to my lovely computer and game the whole day when there’s no outings.

today was worse, glued myself to the screen while animes/mangas were pleasuring my eyes..

..seriously i need to kill this bad habit. :aie:

somehow, i feel like returning back to studying. working isn’t a pleasant thing, especially i gotta travel down to cityhall for working days and seeing at least one passengers holding a psp is a torture. oh well, i guess i’ll have to wait till next month when i have more earnings for that little tempting fellow.

sidetrack a little, lately i’ve been eating quite a lot, since i started work last month..

last friday was a supper feast down at makansutra gluttons bay with peiqi! *slurrps.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Thursday, December 6th, 2007 | 11:46 pm

i’m been really inactive in updating my life on this dead blog. anyway, counting down in 4 days time, and i will receive my first pay!

i’ve been really busy with work nowdays. working like a zombie and slave. days seem to pass faster during work. working is as good as idling when there’s no customers.. sales have been fluctuating terribly, xmas is arriving and people are tight with their wallets, there seemed to be more people like tourists asking for directions instead of purchasing lah! besides engulfing in boredom, there are plenty of interesting customers i chatted with recently, as well as interacting with all sorts of credit cards like american express, vis .etc yesterday i even swiped a visa mini! it was on the first impression to me that it might just be a collectible key chain and customer might be fooling with me.

have your even seen a 20 dollars note in use? well i don’t, and this is my first time touching one! :8

Picture 2

perhaps in the future, brunei and singapore will have a joint currency.

a few days back, we were really flooded with orders and we had to pack all the xmas packages/hampers real quickly. one of the bulk orders, was to include a champagne into every hamper.
