Open your arms for 2008!

come to think of it.. 2007 was a very fruitful year, besides having o levels. strengthened friendships.. plenty of laughters.. finally. tears.
haven’t gave much thought for the new year, but certainly goals.
* make my pae worthwhile by having full attendance. LOL
* interact more with my new classmates and friends.
* more meetings with my usual peeps.
* start saving money.
* having more sleep.
* spend my time cautiously.
can’t think of more now…
my celebration was simply plain compared to last year’s.
venue of celebration was still cineleisure, movie, dinner.
speaking of movie, i caught avp2 with shixiao. i felt the movie was a waste of money. the movie starts off randomly with the newborn “hybrid” predalien and ends off with the human race acquiring the plasma gun. don’t wanna elaborate much, the rest is up to the audience to see.
dinner was sumptuous at sakae teppanyaki.
ideal shot!

beef set is really more “hua” than other sets when you dine in sakae teppanyaki.
no inspiration to continue..
my work at godiva is ending and school is starting..
Go Anna Go Maria!

yesterday’s tennis match indoor stadium was more intensive than the singapore slinger’s match i watched some time ago.
i ain’t much of a tennis fanatic but the time when i first came to know maria sharapova was two years ago, when i was switching channels randomly on television and came across her playing her match at france (i think) over at channel 5. what amazed me was her beauty and height, as well as her signature screams for each smack on the tennis ball. ironically, here i am, seated in the indoor stadium watching a live match of her against anna chakvetadze with shixiao.
my tickets!

everyone was so hyped up when both players entered the areana! gee maria was even taller than what i seen on tv! (1.88m)
the match was like pretty off standard. though i was trying to figure out the rules of the match initially, i can see that both players, especially anna was sort of off form. she went 6-0 against maria for the 1st round. at that point of time, nearly half of the audience were breathing heavily for anna. she soon caught up with maria in the 2nd round, with 5 - 2.

maria being squashed! hehe. :rose:
just when we thought anna was gonna make it up for her previous faults, maria soon beat anna down to 7-6 (12-10). i was hoping it would end up in a tied.
in a blink of an eye, the match was over in about 1 and a half hour. i guess everyone including me had hoped the match was held longer.
on the contrary, there were a lot of cheering going for both tennis stars during the match!
Go Anna! Go Maria! Lets go Maria! Don’t give up Anna!
i cheered for both too!
someone even shouted for anna in hokkien. LOL.
Anna! Mai Gan Chiong!
some asshole shouted this.. so harsh.
Anna! Wake up lah!
i figure anna might ignore “lah” and understand the whole piece of sentence lo. she must be feeling annoyed when she heard that.
there were lots of people taking photos of these two sports celebrities.

it was a glorious night for both awesome players.

when asked if would return back to singapore, both anna and maria replied with a yes! i really do hope they will return in the future!
anna and maria are really hot!

sadly, i didn’t to have a close up view of them nor autograph. what’s left now are only pictures..
Merry Xmas!

Xmas Eve Night Outing.
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007 | 11:41 pm
whee. night outing! accompanied jiahao with his bag hunting at bugis at first. failed attempt and we walked to cineleisure!
along the way at plaza sing!

on the streets, everyone was totally out of their mind. along the way to cine, we encountered countless group of cream sprayers, spraying cream randomly at passersby. fortunately we were not part of their reckless raids. there one hilarious part when, three different groups came close to the road and one started off firing at the other, while the third joined. amusingly, these three, were different racial groups. it was really chaotic and exciting at the same time, our group was like trying to avoid anyone carrying a spray can.
soon, we arrived at cine, unharmed. we then proceeded to e2max and carried our usual practice of counterstrike. time flies and it was soon 1.30am. missed the last train, thankfully, there were nightrider buses home.
