Back from M’sia!

as promised, i shall update my previous sentosa trip. (later done!)
back to topic. i was on a 5 days bus trip to malaysia, sole purpose was to pay my eldest uncle and his ill wife at gerik a visit. apparently, my cousin who pronounced gerik in correction as “gal rik” unlike my parents kept pronouncing gerik as “greek; grik“.
set off on thursday night, 8.30pm and returned at 2.30pm today. we took approximately 13 hours to reach, which includes changing buses at 2 different bus interchanges. it was around in the morning at 10.30am when we arrived at gerik bus interchange where we waited for my cousin, jing fen, to drive us to her apartment.
the road and the old buildings looked as if they haven’t been in maintenance for quite a while. nevertheless, the air felt fresher compared to to my last experience in kuala lumpur.
we waiting in the afternoon for my uncle to return from work. had dinner and chatted a little. most of the time were listening to my uncle’s hilarious past.
we set out the next morning to kuala lumpur for my 4th uncle’s house, where my po po is living. its been 2 years since our last visit. was delighted to see those familiar faces again. one of them was my cousin, ping yee.
when it comes to the hospitality of my uncle, nothing beats than having a sumptuous meal, and shopping spree! 
days seemed to pass real quickly. shopping, makan, shopping, makan, sleep.
what have i gained from my m’sia trip? food: chicken, pork, fish! and of course clothings and ang baos!

.. yup, its finally our first og outing!
venue? sentosa’s siloso beach! this outing was intended to be joint og-class outing, since my class was holding the outing at siloso beach. pathetically, only priscillia, kevin and me turned up, and so we went separate ways with pris joining her inner circle friends and me sticking back to my og while kevin followed me.
first class outing.. so many people put aeroplanes on us. 
purchased chicken rice at the nearby hawker centre before boarding tram to sentosa.
while waiting for ariz, we witness the presence of our nation’s president, mr sr nathan!
at siloso, we played games ranging from volleyball to soccer. one game before lunch which i find pretty bond enforcing, was captain’s ball.
soon, some of us found ourselves being buried in sand.

a nice little og reunion dinner organised by the student council. i was told to bring fishballs while the rest bring chips, mee hoon, drinks .etc
