My first entrance in a Girls’ School.

methodist girl’s school’s dance concert on saturday, was an eyeopener. i’m not a man of artistic flair which explains why i go whoa when witnessing mgs’s concert.

they displayed 14 different sets of dance including dancers from nus! it was such a big thing lah. while i was venturing around in the campus, i felt it was an entirely different culture, very different from my secondary school.
the last arty farty concert i attended was probably, an inspector calls by sp’s school of cass.
anyway besides serving us with performance, this concert actually acts as a gathering for us; pjc pae og04!
at first, i was told to meet up outside bukit timah plaza’s pizza hut, but i let those three lovely sisters wait for me instead!

we grabbed a family feast for four of us. it’s so delightful to dine together!

come to think of it, this was my first time being at bukit timah plaza. shortly after dinner, we agreed to walk to methodist girls’ school and zhiwai led us on a 10 minutes walk. walking is really beneficial, you get to chit chat along the way and even SING!
the first thing that welcomed me in mgs was this group of teens who kept sprouting sentences of american english. frankly speaking, i wasn’t quite used to it, i mean people like me who was from a neighbourhood school, won’t get to hear tunes of standard english in the air. it’s just so different. as for zhiwai, i beg to differ, she compromises when being with us, we don’t usually communicate in english. We would be bilingual unless in text.
anyway, the concert was a blast. i still need to work on my level of comprehension on performing arts.

i don’t what led us to go crazy that night! we insisted in taking jump shots. well….

i can’t believe we took over 10 shots! it’s was kinda late and we couldn’t achieve a perfect jump shot!

we resorted to use chairs!

zhiwai and olivia were introducing this “sotong ball” gesture to me and joey joined in to demonstrate as well! sotong ball = cheek bone.

i think it’s cute but i just can’t seem to squeeze my own like theirs!
the night was still young for us and so we headed for the nearby market for supper.
i’m starting to think i have alter-ego. i can be crazy with my class/friends but i can just be a little more crazier when i’m with these angels.
