CSCC TRIP WITH BAD KARMA.

what can i say. i was out for another trip again.

well well. cscc stands for community service and cultural club. initially it reminded me of my days of doing community service at old folks home. later i found that cscc not only involved in social work, but also organise outings such as this to sentosa!

anyone could hardly think of any fun for just an one day trip, that was proven true when i was late to report to school the following day. (i overslept)

i was walking through groups of people that crowded outside of sac, when i see sights of unhappiness. everyone seemed so sian to make friends. i was feeling sian also, frankly, there was no reason for me to not attend something which i already paid and yea.. i was sorta dragging my body..

what surprised me was smile on joshua’s face, which already signaled that i’m gonna be in the same team as him. well.. i don’t really know joshua well.. despite the fact that we graduated from the same pae academy (pjc). before orientation, i was told by him that he was posted to cjc, and i requested him to buy cjc’s pe attire as a favour, and he agreed. i was stumbled to see him on orientation day.. seriously, i’m starting to distrust this person.

anyway, back to topic. i was introduced to 7 members of my team called ananke which sounded somewhere near kentaki (kfc). miraculously, (again) i met this new friend, jiajun who was a friend of valerie and derrick. at times, i pondered.. is singapore really that small? besides jiajun, i found some of my species, and they were peiyi (not peiyi from braganza) and keping. i also hooked up on other teammates called owen and nicholas.

instead of creating the usual team symbol; flag, we actually created our very own team shield! it was already done when i reported.. beholds the shield-shaped card box was a painted chicken with a background full of stars and a rocket for no reason. we cheered heavily to seize chance to present our shield.. but.. it was stolen thanks to joshua.

guess what we were told to do to retrieve our shield?

WE HAD TO STRIP OUR TOPS AND CHEER LIKE MAD DOGS. :o

KNN. first day have to strip top liao.. :canny:

just imagine we guys have to take off shirt.. right after lunch sia and our lunch was like.. fried rice.. plus prawns.. OMFG all the oily combo.

after presentation from every group, we traveled to sentosa’s palawan beach where we had our station games.

station games were alright except that we had to do forfeit for every station except one. what’s worse, i didn’t bring extra clothing and that made me suffer when it comes to water activities.

…. we did.. muah chee (get wet and rolled on sand) and the stupid sea creature guessing game in the cold water.

KNS. what made me more DU LAN was the lost of my pair of havaianas.. REALLY DU LAN. i searched and searched still cannot find.. it always happened to me that whatever item in my possession won’t exceed the lifespan of a year.. hopefully next won’t be my laptop. =/

i think its my bad karma. just during the 3rd day of my sb orientation (spice training day), my handphone hanged when i was mass messaging and soon failed to start.. to make matters worse, i was supposed to meet tiam kwee in the evening and the case with my hp, had made it impossible to contact him; vice versa. …which led.. him to wait for hours before i managed to get through his line.

this moral tells me, humans of the modern world, cannot live without hp or any other sole communication tools. KNN. without my phone, i felt as if i had broken a limb..

these were the most recent events that drowned me into depression.. well , at least moody.

anyway, the lost of my havaianas actually gained me 5 precious friends in ananke.. which means.. each friend is equivalent to $10 heh.

i’m starting to find comfort now! :8
